I was working on some distortion\u00a0effects software and it kept crashing. The Raspberry Pi Zero was just too slow to handle it. But, as it went down, the audio stuttered and glitched while Guitarix tried to get it’s buffer back in sync.<\/p>\n

It sounded pretty rad. So, I recorded a bunch of it and chopped up the file into individual parts suitable for a sampler or drum machine. They’ve been normalized and somewhat optimized for looping.<\/p>\n

They’re free for use, but it would be cool to give a shout if you use them. They’re definitely not for redistribution or inclusion in an any other sample library.<\/p>\n

This is a free sample pack of noise and glitch audio files sourced from malfunctioning guitar pedal software.
