A collection of images made in Europe and across the USA. They use multiple exposures to build evocative and dynamic abstract compositions that offer a fresh perspective in photography. The images are more about the experience of the journeys instead of just a pictorial travelogue. They blend hyper detailed closeup frames with camera movement and changes in perspective, all within single frames. Some of the European locations include Berlin, Istanbul, Paris, and Edinburgh. American locations include the entire southern route across the country from the Bay Area to central Florida and back again.

About the artist

Joshua Curry is an artist and photographer living in San Francisco. He started out as a skateboarding photographer in the late 80s and went on to become a photojournalist and then later a fine art photographer. He also creates a wide variety of multimedia and tech art under the name Lucidbeaming. He recently returned to SF after living in Berlin for 4 years.
